Terms of Service

You sign up, you direct films using the studio, you keep the films you make. We don’t claim ownership of your output. The AI providers we orchestrate (Anthropic, video providers, ElevenLabs, etc.) have their own terms that apply to the generation step — we’ll always tell you which provider rendered which shot. Don’t use the studio for anything illegal, harmful, or that violates our providers’ content policies. We can suspend accounts for that.

You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. If something looks off — unauthorized login, billing surprise, anything — email support@cinematech.ai right away.

Films, loglines, scene prompts, character descriptions, voice direction — anything you input or generate is your content. You own it. You can download it, share it, publish it, sell it, use it commercially, ignore it, or delete it.

To run the studio, we need a license from you to process that content: store it, display it back to you, transmit it to the AI providers we orchestrate, and serve it from our share pages when you choose to share. The license ends when you delete the content (subject to standard backup retention windows).

Generative AI is imperfect. Outputs may be inaccurate, biased, or surprising; characters may drift; voice clones may mispronounce; the same prompt may produce different results on different days. We work hard to minimize drift (the consistency pipeline is a real thing) but we can’t guarantee any specific output. You’re responsible for reviewing what the studio produces before publishing it.

Many of our providers train on broad corpora that may include copyrighted material. We don’t train models ourselves; we orchestrate third parties. If you’re using outputs commercially, review the relevant provider’s terms — we’ll always show which provider rendered each shot.

• Use the studio to generate content depicting non-consensual sexual material, child sexual abuse material, real-person deepfakes intended to deceive, or any other category our upstream providers prohibit.
• Use the studio to generate content that promotes violence, hate speech, harassment, or illegal activity.
• Reverse-engineer the service, scrape our pages at industrial scale, or hammer the API beyond rate limits.
• Resell access to your account or share credentials.

Violations result in account suspension. Egregious violations (CSAM, real harm) result in immediate termination + report to appropriate authorities.

We can modify the service, add or remove providers, change rate limits, and update these terms with notice. Pre-launch, features may move quickly. Post-launch, material changes get email notice.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our providers’ policies, or that put the platform’s stability at risk.

The studio is currently free during pre-launch. When we introduce paid tiers, existing users will get notice and a fair grandfathering window. We won’t paywall content you’ve already created.

The studio is provided “as is.” We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any specific purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which during pre-launch is $0 — make of that what you will).

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
